Through our distance learning platform, you’ll receive personalised support from a tutor available via conference calls, email, and phone. No matter the way you enter ministry, our support is with you all the way.

It is a distinct privilege to welcome you to St Thomas Aquinas Seminary. At St Thomas’ you will find a dedicated team of tutors, all of whom have have substantial experience in ministry throughout the world and provide first class support to all our students. The experience of this team leads to excellence in formation for ordained ministry and the training of lay ministry.

At St Thomas’ we open our doors to all Catholic jurisdictions, bible colleges and other independent churches to offer formation to all clergy at a high standard who wish to study theology and ministry through the distance learning route. Our approach to study is modular and offers students to approach their learning at different speeds and within a customised learning programme. It is this customised approach, alongside the experience of our team of tutors, that makes our degrees and certificates in ministry and theology highly sought after.

This course provides a theory and practical based study with modules covering every aspect of theology and key practical modules focusing on the needs of ministry in the 21st century.

Offers a More Practical Based Training

This largely practical based course provides the student with a full introduction to the needs of the church in the modern age. This will also include key modules in theological reflection.

Our certificate course is aimed at those who may not be going directly into ordained ministry, but perhaps would like to support their church in a practical way
